NFL Divisional Round 2019: Odds for each game
The schedule is set for the Divisional Round of this year’s NFL playoffs, and here the early odds for each game.
Wild Card Weekend for this year’s NFL playoffs is in the books, and the slate for the Divisional Round is now set as both No. 6 seeds advanced and the idea that “defense wins championships” moved to the forefront.
Over in the AFC, the Indianapolis Colts will try to continue their run against the No. 1 seed Kansas City Chiefs in the first Divisional Round game Saturday afternoon. The Los Angeles Chargers will go to Foxboro for a second straight Sunday game that will kickoff at 10 a.m PT, as they look to upset the New England Patriots.
The NFC slate will start with a Saturday night game between the Dallas Cowboy and the Los Angles Rams. Then in the late game on Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles and quarterback Nick Foles will look to keep a second straight improbable run going against the top seed New Orleans Saints.
Via our friends over at Oddsshark, here are the early odds for each 2019 NFL Divisional Round game.
Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs, Saturday 4:35 p.m. ET: Kansas City (-5.5)
Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Rams, Saturday, 8:15 p.m. ET: Los Angeles (-7)
Los Angeles Chargers at New England Patriots, Sunday, 1:05 p.m. ET: New England (-4.5)
Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints, Sunday, 4:40 p.m. ET: New Orleans (-9)
If over/unders are more your thing, here are those totals for each game (also via Oddsshark).
Colts at Chiefs: 56.5
Cowboys at Rams: 49.5
Chargers at Patriots: 48.5
Eagles at Saints: 51.5
It’s not surprising at this point that we have four home favorites–the top two seeds in each conference–all by at least five points. Colts-Chiefs is easy to see as having the greatest potential to be high-scoring, so that game should carry the highest over/under by a decent margin right through the week.
