Will Dan go through with filing the lawsuit, or let it be for his son’s sake? The Conners have spoken about how difficult it is to obtain a job in Lanford recently. Actor Peter Gallagher will be playing the lawyer Dan consults with.

"When Dan gets injured while covering D.J.’s vending machine route, the decision to sue the company could cost D.J. his job; Jackie is appalled when Becky seeks life coaching from her nemesis."
Meanwhile, Jackie’s dismayed when Becky decides to seek “life coaching” from her “nemesis” instead of her. Will it be Bev? Becky hasn’t been the same since her pregnancy and Darlene’s warning to daughter Harris recently about “not becoming like her aunt Becky” hurt her immensely.
It’s interesting this episode is titled “Rage Against the Machine,” though an obvious pun, makes one wonder if a song of the band’s would ever pop up on the show or really any mainstream television series some day. Seems unlikely but both Aerosmith’s “Dream On” and Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” were played just like their episode’s namesakes on a certain weekly show featuring a distinct ‘fixer’ on Showtime recently. Anything is possible!
