Florida State. Brian Burns. 25. player. 54. . Edge

The Philadelphia Eagles needed a lot of help to get into the playoffs, but punched their ticket when the Chicago Bears beat the Minnesota Vikings in Week 17. This past Sunday night, it was the Eagles beating those same Bears in the Wild Card Round, as they advanced to the Divisional Round for the second straight season.

The common denominator for this Eagles team has been the quarterback, as the legend of Nick Foles continues to grow in the City of Brotherly Love. Foles led the Eagles to an astonishing comeback victory against the Bears, and over the last two seasons, has become the most important figure in team history.

While the odds the Eagles repeat as champions are long, there is just something about how this team plays with Foles under center. Even on defense, the team seems to step up big time, and we saw a very mediocre secondary play their best game of the season against a very good Mitchell Trubisky on Sunday night.

Staying on the defensive side of the ball, that is where the Eagles should focus their draft pick, bringing in a solid edge rusher like Brian Burns. During his time at Florida State, Burns became one of the better pass rushers in college football, and on this Eagles defense, he would have the opportunity to be a difference maker in year one.
