High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Jayson Tatum (at MIA – $6,100): Needs 26.2 fantasy points. Tatum had 26.8 fantasy points in 25 minutes against the Pacers on Wednesday. He should play more minutes in this one as the Heat will make for a more competitive game. Tatum has been good for the Celtics during this stretch, getting it done with his scoring and chipping in in other areas. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Daniel Theis (at MIA – $4,800): Needs 20.6 fantasy points. Theis had 26.7 fantasy points in 18 minutes against the Pacers. He continues to give the Celtics consistent play and the minutes should be there in this matchup given the Miami frontcourt. He’s a reliable option if nothing else. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Marcus Morris (at MIA – $4,700): Needs 20.2 fantasy points. it’s a Boston Tea Party at power forward on Thursday. Morris has a higher ceiling than Theis, but he’s not quite as reliable because his scoring isn’t always there. I like his game better at home than on the road, but he’s at a good salary and the opportunities are always there for him. Diagnosis: Good ceiling, but a tad inconsistent.
