Blue Jackets at Capitals: Stream, prediction, preview
The Columbus Blue Jackets take on the Washington Capitals on Saturday night. Here is everything you need to know to watch.
This should be a fun game between division rivals. The Capitals are at the top of the Metropolitan Division despite the challenges they have faced. The Blue Jackets are not too far behind and they are looking to work their way up.
The Blue Jackets recently took goalie Sergei Bobrovsky off the roster for failure to meet expectations and values, which could be a blow to the Blue Jackets considering he is a three-time Vezina winner and he has been good for them in the past. But they are looking at more than just good play and they don’t need the distractions.
Columbus is hoping to spark some offense by breaking up the top line, Cam Atkinson and Pierre-Luc Dubois are a big part of that line. They hope by breaking them up it will spark the other three lines, which they are going to need if they want to beat the Capitals.
The Capitals offense has gone cold recently and the Blue Jackets need to take advantage of that. It’s surprising that the Capitals are struggling so much considering they have Alex Ovechkin, Evgeny Kuznetsov and Nicklas Backstrom on the team. Ovechkin does still lead the league with 30 goals and T.J Oshie has started heating up.

On paper, it looks like the Capitals hold the advantage due to their record and their high-powered offense. Don’t take the Blue Jackets lightly, they have that good top line that could be potent. This is a game you won’t want to miss.
Game Prediction: The Capitals defeat the Blue Jackets 3-2.
