Welcome to NHL DFS Man Advantage for Saturday night January 12th! Tonight we have a good size Saturday night slate with 10 games. This slate, like most large slates, has a good amount of top players but also some pretty interesting options in the value tier as well.

We have a few teams on a back to back (Pittsburgh, Detroit, and Buffalo) and all three are looking like they’ll be using a different goalie from Friday night. We also have get some of the top offenses  in the league in Tampa, Colorado, Toronto, and Washington to name a few in this NHL DFS slate.

NHL DFS Goalies:

Tonight’s top netminder for me is Devan Dubnyk ($7,800) in a matchup at home against a Detroit team on their second night of a back to back. Dubnyk comes in riding a personal 4 game winning streak in which he has only allowed 8 goals, and has 1 shutout.

after Dubnyk, why other favorite top options are:

2- Andrei Vasilevskiy ($8,200) @ Buffalo

3- Marc-Andre Fleury ($8,200) @ Chicago

4- Martin Jones ($8,300) VS Ottawa

5- Casey DeSmith ($8,200) @ Los Angeles

My last option is Mikko Koskinen ($7,700) in a home matchup with Arizona. In his only previous game against Arizona this season, Koskinen stopped 29 of 30 for a win and 7.8 fantasy points.

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – DECEMBER 22: Alex Tuch #89 and Brandon Pirri #73 of the Vegas Golden Knights celebrate with teammates on the bench after Tuch assisted Pirri on a first-period goal against the Montreal Canadiens during their game at T-Mobile Arena on December 22, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Top Tier:

Connor McDavid ($8,100) – This is a big spot for McDavid against a weak defensive and goaltending team. Last game was McDavid’s second three-point outing in the last five games, and he now has 8 games with at least three points. In the last 8 games, McDavid has five goals and 14 points.

More from FanSided

Patrick Kane ($7,700) – Kane has points in 9 of his last 10 games totaling 9 goals, 10 assists, 36 shots on goal, and averaging 6.9 FPPG. Kane plays on the Hawks second line with Artem Anisimov and Dylan Strome as well as on the top PP unit with Strome. Another member of the top PP unit is Alex DeBrincat ($5,700) who comes into tonight’s game with goals in 3 straight.

Steven Stamkos ($7,200) – The Lightning captain comes in to tonight’s contest with 1 goal and 5 assists in his last 4 games.

Mid Tier:

Alex Tuch ($6,200) – Tuch comes into tonight’s game with points in 7 straight (2 goals 7 assists) while playing on the Knights second line. Also if Vegas doesn’t send Brandon Pirri back down tonight, he is a good option with Tuch.

Ryan O’Reilly ($5,800) – In his last 10 O’Reilly has 10 points (3 goals and 7 assists) and is coming off a 2 assists performance with 5 SOG and 7.5 fantasy points

Tyson Barrie ($5,100) – With a goal and 6 assists in his last 5 games for Colorado it seems Barrie is starting to join the offensive party for the Av’s. Barrie plays on the Av’s 2nd  D pair as well as the top PP unit.

Value Tier:

Erik Gustafsson ($4,700) – Gustafsson has a 7 game assist streak for Chicago totally in 9 assists in that span. Gustafsson is arguably the Hawks best offensive the defensemen at this point in the season

Chris Tierney ($4,300) – Tierney has a small 3 game point streak going for Ottawa with 2 goals and 3 assists in the last 3 games and is averaging 4.8 FPPG. Tierney centers the Senators 2nd line as well as their second PP unit.

Conor Garland ($3,600) – Garland is currently playing 3rd line minutes for Arizona, but with how well he’s been playing you could see him climb up the depth chart. In his last 10 for the Yotes, Garland has 6 goals and 2 assists while averaging 3.7 FPPG.

NHL DFS Line Stacks:

Buffalo 1

Colorado 1

Montreal 2

Boston/Toronto 1 – A game stack here could work well

Tampa 2 – They are becoming as popular as Colorado for me

Minnesota 3 – Mini stack with Parise/Coyle

Edmonton 1

Pittsburgh – You could pretty much mix and match anyone from their top 3 lines

San Jose 1 – Jumbo Joe Thornton is hot right now
