#OffTheCuff NFL DFS Divisional Round Playbook

Oh, y’all thought you wasn’t go see me back with some NFL DFS Playoff action? I’m the Osirus of this Ish! CPR is here forevea, Mutha … Wait a minute. Pardon me, I’m bumpin’ Wu-Tang while I write this!

What’s good my people?! I am your man Johnny Espizito, back again for this juicy weekend of NFL DFS football. Not a ton to break down,so let’s get to it!

This week I’m switching it up. You know I preach the importance of the O-Line. They make the O go! Without them, nothing works. The tough part about this week is defense. Lot of great fronts and 2nd levels. But not all are created equal. Here’s what’s on my mind for this week of Fantasy Football.

Colts D Front: Scary.

No doubt about it. Pair that with arguably one of the best LBs in football today and you have a recipe to make a teams O-Line nervous. The Chiefs O-Line is nothing to sneeze at. But…they have their work cut out for them. If I were the Colts DC, I would play some big Dime packages. That’s the only way to have enough bodies to try to stop this explosive Chiefs Offense. Only risk in that, is having all the bodies out there and depleting your reserves. Risky.

On the other side of that…

Chiefs D front: Not so scary.

Lot of holes in the Chiefs Defense if you ask me. The heart and soul of that defense (Berry) did return from injury a few weeks ago. So, it’s going to be interesting to see if the Chiefs D steps all the way up to stop a white-hot Andrew Luck & Company.

Colts targets: Luck/Inman/Ebron/Mack/Hines

Yup…No T.Y. for me. I love him on turf. Outside of that I feel like he slows down and does not have better games. Inman , Ebron and Luck have great chemistry, no brainer. KC is also bad against the Run and Mack has looked good against sub par fronts. I like Hines for pass catching upside. I feel like he will be that guy who goes under the radar in this game, but has himself a day.

Chiefs Targets: Mahomes/Hill/Kelce/Robinson

It’s showtime baby!!! For those who think Indy will put the clamps on THIS offense…go to sleep wake up and think again PLEASE. Mr. I Put Ketchup On My Mac N Cheese is about get BUSY, you understand me? The Chief’s struggle is going to be defensive, not offensive. Hill and Kelce demand double coverage…and will bust that same coverage. Both are matchup nightmares. In trying to contain them, Robinson is going to shake loose also – Colts have their work cut out for them.

Rams D front: Scary

But deceiving! Why? I see a ton of touts saying these will be no way to move the ball against the Rams. On what planet? If you’re a football guy/girl, you know THE way to beat the Rams…is by ground punishment. Donald and Suh are QB killers, not run stoppers. BIG difference. I have been preaching this ALL season. Plus…you still have Peters, who has proven that he is beatable. So, the Rams D does not scare me. I’m locking in Zeke and calling it a day. Yes, my Cowboys O-Line has been hurt and struggling. But…I think we will be ok. As long as we keep pounding the ball. Period.

Cowboys Targets: Zeke/Cooper/Gallup

As I said, Zeke is a lock for me. I expect the Cowboys to move the WRs around a ton. Coop will see Peters at some point and that’s money. Gallup will see him as well. Easy. The only possible struggle is Dak over throwing the WRs. Hopefully he keeps his touch under control. If he doesn’t, we’re screwed.

Cowboys D front: On fire

I’m not one of those Cowboys fans that over hypes and is delusional. No…but, you can’t say the front and 2nd level haven’t been hot! ‘The Predator and The Wolf’ won the 2nd level. Going against this high-powered Rams O is no easy task. We are going to struggle at the corner though. So Goff is going to do Goff things. No doubt about it. Gurley…idk what to tell you except, I think he re-injures that ACL he tore and had repaired coming out of college. Anderson doesn’t scare me AT ALL. That Rams O-Line is going to be under a lot of pressure, but will keep Goff safe for the most part.

Rams Targets: Goff/Cooks/Reynolds

Speed Kills… Especially Awuzie. He gets burned a lllllllllllot. I expect Goff to let that pig skin flyyyy baby! So definitely have some exposure. Don’t sleep.

The Obvious: Brees in the dome, and Michael Thomas being matchup proof. We all know Brees spreads the love target wise. Seeing as Watson is retiring after this season, no way Brees and him don’t connect. If I had to pick a sleeper on the Saints side of the ball…My guy,  Ted Ginn Jr. #SpeedKills . Some will say Tre’Quan, but with Ginn back , I see him fading to the back.

I really have 0 interest in the Chargers and Pats game. But, If I had to pick a team to come out on top…Give me the Pats. Bellitroll will shut Rivers down somehow. It’s what he does. I will say though, Eivers pulling out a W is not impossible. That Pats secondary is terrible. Keenan Allen and Michael Williams could go OFF.

And of course…Nick Foles. Can he send Brees packing? Possible. If I had to pick Eagles targets, give me Foles/Aggy/Ertz/Tate.

That’s it for me folks. I’ll holla at y’all on the flipside!
