The reappearance of the passengers from Flight 828 has been hailed as nothing short of a miracle, but what if the same conditions that created the plane’s disappearance could be recreated? This week’s all-new episode of Manifest reveals that it might not be the best idea.

The stakes are getting higher now that Ben knows that the Major would be very interested in Cal’s heightened callings. Keeping him safe is his top priority along with getting the answers he so desperately needs, but it’s not easy.

Here is the episode description of “Dark Lightning”:

“Will lightning strike twice? Dark lightning could be the answer to the disappearance of Flight 828. Captain Daly will try to fly through time, but Ben and Michaela need him in the present.”

Would repeating the “accident” that caused the flight to show up five years later be something that would benefit or hinder Ben’s investigation? Dark lightning could explain what happened to the flight, but it’s more important for the passengers to understand where they fit into this whole thing. Is it a secret government project? An experiment? A miracle?

For his part, Ben needs answers now, and having Captain Daly fly off into the future won’t help anyone. Daly’s mind is made up, though, so stopping him won’t be an easy task.

With the very real threat of the Major looming over Ben and his family and friends, time is running out to get the answers they need.
