Alabama didn’t win the national title this year, but next year will see the Crimson Tide bounce back and take home the crown.

Alabama fell in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game thanks to a stellar performance from an almost-completely-NFL-bound Clemson defensive line and the rise of offensive stars, Trevor Lawrence and Justyn Ross. But it’s reloading time, not rebuilding time, for Nick Saban’s Alabama team headed into the 2019 college football season.

Alabama and Clemson are already the early betting favorites to play for the National Championship Game again next season. As always, the Crimson Tide are stacked with talent headed into next season, despite losing a number of players to the NFL Draft.

Led by one of the best head coaches in college history in Nick Saban, the Crimson Tide will have a bitter taste in their mouth until they get a chance to reclaim their title as the best team in college football. With a wealth of returning talent and a stellar incoming freshman class, Alabama could be set up to give Saban his (record-breaking) seventh National Championship.
