Manny Pacquiao is at the end of his career, but he’s still an elite fighter. Adrien Broner will try to retire him. Here’s how to view the bout.

Manny Pacquiao (60-7-2, 39 KOs) is one of the greatest boxers of all time. He’s 40 years old and at the end of his career, but he’s still considered one of the best in the sport. Adrien Broner (33-3-1, 24 KOs) is a fighter that has always possessed potential, but he has fallen short of expectations. A win over Pacquiao would help him realize the dreams that have remained unfulfilled.

A Pacquiao victory would bring him closer to a megafight against someone like Errol Spence Jr. or Terence Crawford. A win for Broner means that he gets to stay relevant in boxing and can sport a title belt around his waist for the first time since 2015.

Pacquiao vs. Broner is the main event of Showtime’s pay-per-view card on Saturday, Jan. 19. This is Pacquiao’s first fight as a member of Premier Boxing Champions. His split with Top Rank Promotions and Bob Arum was contentious, but he has found a new home.

The pay-per-view price tag for this contest is a whopping $74.99. Many media sources are quick to point out that this is the same price charged for Wilder vs. Fury, but this bout doesn’t pack the same punch in the eyes of fight fans. It will be interesting to see how many buys Pacquiao vs. Broner generates.

You don’t have to have a subscription to Showtime to purchase the fight. You can buy the bout through your cable provider, or you can download the Showtime App and buy the fight. This allows you to stream the contest on your computer or mobile device.

Outside of the main event, there are several intriguing bouts featured on the undercard. Here’s the list of the most dynamic fights:

  • Badou Jack vs. Marcus Browne (light heavyweights)
  • Jhack Tepora vs. Hugo Ruiz (interim WBA featherweight title)
  • George Kambosos Jr. vs. Rey Perez (lightweights)

If you are a huge Pacquiao or Broner fan, then you don’t want to miss this fight. The price is very inflated, but at least you get several good bouts for your money. If you don’t want to shell out $74.99, you can check local theater listings to see if it is being carried on closed-circuit TV. Your best bet is to check Fandango or AMC. The price of admission is $20.00.
