High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Kelly Oubre Jr (at TOR – $5,600): Needs 23.6 fantasy points. Oubre Jr had 31 fantasy points against the Pacers on Jan. 15. I continue to love his energy coming off the bench for the Suns. And now he gets the Raptors who are on a back-to-back. Oubre’s energy should lead to plenty of fantasy points once again. He does a bit of everything and until he falls off, I’ll keep taking him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Bojan Bogdanovic (vs PHI – $5,500): Needs 23.1 fantasy points. Bojan had 30.5 fantasy points against the Suns on Jan. 15. His production has been slightly down due to blowouts but they should be up in this game as it projects to be a competitive affair. He plays a reliable game and does a bit of everything. If he’s shooting hot, that’s even better for his value. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Nicolas Batum (vs SAC – $5,200): Needs 21.9 fantasy points. I’m not in love with Batum’s game but he did had 38.3 fantasy points against the Kings on Jan. 12. And I expect the Hornets to get a big boost now that they are back at home following the long west coast road trip. And Batum played relatively well on the road trip. I like the matchup overall as well. Diagnosis: A risk but a lot of factors working in his favor.
