5. Aubameyang, Willian score as Arsenal beat Chelsea

This weekend, the biggest game at the top end of the table sees Chelsea make the short trip across London to face off against Arsenal. Earlier on in the season, these two teams played out an exciting match which Chelsea narrowly won 3-2.

Hopefully there is the same amount of excitement this weekend when the two sides meet. Although there may be less freedom on the pitch with both sides keen to maintain or better their current league positions.

Arsenal desperately need the three points in order to keep a resurgent Manchester United at bay. Chelsea are only a point behind third-place Tottenham and will want to keep the pressure on another one of their London rivals.

This game is really hard to call despite Chelsea looking like a more complete side at the moment. Arsenal and Unai Emery have had a good season considering recent years but they’ve looked a little less consistent of late.

A big win in a match like this can turn the Gunners’ fortunes around, though, and set them on the right path going into the last 15 games. They’ll need their game-changing players to look more alive this weekend, though.

Against West Ham last week, Arsenal seemed tired and the Premier League’s joint-top goalscorer, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, barely had a chance on goal. That will change this weekend with the Gabonese striker bagging at least one goal against the Blues.

Chelsea should exploit the defensive frailties that still remain at Arsenal and Willian looks like a good bet to get on the scoresheet after his wonderful goal against Newcastle last week. This will be a tight match but Arsenal will come out on top with a 2-1 victory over their neighbors.
