High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Austin Rivers (vs LAL – $5,600): Needs 26 fantasy points. Rivers had 33.75 fantasy points against the Nets on Jan. 16. With Eric Gordon back in the lineup his job does become a bit easier and he’s able to pick up more assists. And with Capela out of the lineup, he’s able to get more rebounds. The shots will always be there because everyone on the Rockets gets shots. This should be a 3-point shootout and you know the Rockets love that. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Malik Beasley (vs CLE – $4,900): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. Beasley is always reliable. He remains at a very good salary, minutes are never an issue and he does a bit of everything. Even in a blowout he plays solid minutes because the Nuggets just like giving him run with all their injuries. And this could definitely be a blowout. Beasley should be in for another strong night. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Dwyane Wade (at CHI – $4,800): Needs 22.3 fantasy points. Much like Beasley, Wade is just a reliable option. You know what you’re getting from him on most nights and he has a high ceiling. The Heat need wins right now and Wade isn’t going to let them lose to Chicago. He’s at a good salary, always gets the opportunities to produce and can always turn back the clock. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling. Don’t be concerned about the back-to-back given the matchup.
