Players costing $6,667 or under

Darren Collison (vs DAL – $6,000): Needs 25.6 fantasy points. Collison was down to 24.7 fantasy points against the Sixers on Jan. 17. He’s still be solid during this recent stretch and they’ve needed it from him with the way Victor Oladipo has not looked like himself since returning from injury. The matchup is a good one for Collison and if nothing else he should do enough to get you value in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

D.J. Augustin (vs MIL – $5,000): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. Augustin has been solid for the Magic during this stretch and had 20.2 fantasy points against the Nets on Friday. It is a back-to-back for the Magic, which is a bit concerning. And it’s against the Bucks, which is even more concerning. But the value PG options aren’t great on Saturday. Augustin gets minutes and opportunities if nothing else. Diagnosis: A decent ceiling but there are red flags.

Jeremy Lin (vs BOS – $4,600): Needs 19.6 fantasy points. You can take Lin with confidence if Trae Young isn’t able to play. Lin has flashed a high ceiling this season and he’s going to get minutes, likely even start, if Young is absent in this game. If Young ends up playing, look elsewhere for value. Though the matchup isn’t bad with the Celtics on a back-to-back and still looking rough defensively. Diagnosis: Take with confidence if Young is out.
