The Kansas Jayhawks haven’t consistently been all that dominant this season, but they’re still 15-2 and looking to crush the West Virginia Mountaineers.
West Virginia’s 2018-2019 basketball season has been rough and there’s a good chance that things could realistically get worse for the Mountaineers this weekend. As of right now, West Virginia is completely winless in conference play. This is the worst team in the Big 12.
West Virginia will get the pleasure of playing the best team in the Big 12.
While the Mountaineers are struggling, the Kansas Jayhawks, at 15-2, appear to have a pretty great team yet again this season. Kansas hasn’t processed all of its foes with ease this year, but KU is still winning and that’s ultimately what matters here.
However, when Kansas gets to Morgantown, the Jayhawks will have a realistic shot at beating the West Virginia Mountaineers with ease. In the five Big 12 games that the Mountaineers have played in so far, West Virginia has lost every single one of them. In those games, Bob Huggins’ team has been outscored by an average score of 75.4 points to just 65.2.
While Kansas is only averaging 72 points in Big 12 play, assuming that the trends remain consistent, that should be more than enough to take care of West Virginia in this game.

KU is simply playing better basketball at the moment and has in every moment leading up to this point this year.
Don’t be shocked to see Kansas win here. Don’t be shocked to see the Jayhawks win this one with no issues whatsoever.
