Real Madrid vs. Sevilla live stream: Watch La Liga online
By Warren Pegg
Real Madrid face Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday, Jan. 19. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
While Madrid do at least now sit in the Champions League places, a scrappy win over Betis on the last match-day did little to inspire confidence, coming as it did on the back of a home loss to Real Sociedad and a draw with struggling Villarreal.
Vinicius’ good form has been encouraging, but the fact that he’s an 18-year-old who’s only ever played 241 minutes in La Liga is indicative of where Madrid are at as a club right now. They lost 0-1 to Leganes on Wednesday in the Copa del Rey but still went through to the next round, having won the first leg by three goals.
Sevilla also lost in the Spanish cup in midweek, against Bilbao, but nonetheless progressed on aggregate. They were top of La Liga after eight games and now lie third, level on points with their opponents today.
Pablo Machin’s side are on a three-game winless run in the league at the moment, having drawn with Leganes and Atleti before losing last Sunday to Bilbao. They’ll probably just be glad to face another team, having played the Basque side in three consecutive matches.
