Indiana Pacers star guard Victor Oladipo was stretchered from Wednesday’s game into the locker room with a very serious looking lower-body injury.
Victor Oladipo differed a gruesome lower-body injury and was removed on a stretcher.
Oladipo will undergo an MRI on Thursday but the injury is expected to require surgery and end his season.
He tried to defend Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam when his leg gave out and trainers rushed to his aid. The injury is tough to watch so be forewarned should you elect to watch in the video below

You can hear the screams of Oladipo and it’s no surprise given how bad everything looked. His teammates were there to surround and console him. Oladipo gave a thumbs up as he was removed from the court.

Obviously, everyone all hopes Oladipo heals quickly and resumes his career without a hitch. At just 26 years old, he is in the prime of his career.
As for where this leaves the Pacers, it’s going to be a major hurdle to overcome. The two-time All-Star leads the team in minutes, points per game and is very close to leading in assists as well.
Indiana is in the middle of a very good season, sitting as the third seed entering into play tonight. Maybe the chances of them getting by Milwaukee or Toronto weren’t the best with Oladipo but they just sunk a lot lower if Oladipo’s injury is as serious as it looked to be on first glance.
The Pacers do have some time until the trade deadline which isn’t until Thursday, Feb. 7. They will need to decide if they can make a move to try and keep them afloat or if they let the rest of this season go where it goes now that they could be without their best player for the year.
