Disclaimer: Every basketball parlay in this series is going to be a simple 4-legger. A 4-leg basketball parlay is RISKY so approach with caution and avoid tossing full unit bets on these picks.

With that said, who doesn’t want to toss down a little basketball parlay that can pay you out exponentially more money? After all, sports betting is supposed to be fun. Why not live a little?

Last night’s parlay went down spectacularly in flames. You win some – you lose some, right? With a ton of NCAA games in store to go with a few NBA match-ups, today is a great day to get back on track with a solid basketball parlay.

Basketball Parlay of the Day

  • Georgia Tech @ Duke -22
  • Monmouth (+2) @ Niagara
  • Pacers @ Grizzlies UNDER 204
  • Hawks @ Trail Blazers OVER 228

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets vs Duke Blue Devils – 12:00pm ET

I’ll go ahead and keep this short and sweet. Duke is good. Georgia Tech is not good. Duke has Zion Williamson. Georgia Tech does not have Zion Williamson. Duke also has RJ Barrett. Georgia Tech also does not have RJ Barrett. Get where i’m going?

Duke hasn’t lost a game ATS when they’ve been favored by 20-30 points on the year and don’t expect that to change here. The Yellow Jackets have been blown out by good teams and embarrassed in losses by bad teams. While they do have a few surprising wins, they aren’t nearly talented enough to hang with Duke.

Basketball Parlay Pick #1: Duke (-22)

This photo is part of a photo essay on three sporting events in a fifteen hour time span at Madison Square Garden. The three sports were an NCAA college basketball game between The University of Kentucky vs Monmouth College, followed by an NHL hockey game between the New York Rangers against the New Jersey Devils, followed by a boxing match for the WBO Lightweight Title between Vasiliy Lomachenko against Guillermo Rigondeaux. Monmouth Hawks vs Niagara Purple Eagles – 2:00pm ET

Monmouth finds their way onto another one of my betting articles and are sneakily becoming one of my favorite teams to bet on. Despite a weak overall record, Monmouth has shown that they are leaps and bounds better than most teams in the MAAC, Niagara included.

Niagara played decent in non-conference before stumbling through MAAC play, even dropping a game to lowly Manhattan at one point. While they did knock off Quinnipiac and Iona (who is in a slight down year), they aren’t consistently good enough to warrant staying away from betting against.

Oddsmakers love to overlook Monmouth after their poor showing out of conference, but the Hawks have played some great basketball in MAAC play so far. Look for that roll to continue with a Monmouth cover (and outright win).

Basketball Parlay Pick #2: Monmouth Hawks (+2)

Indiana Pacers vs Memphis Grizzlies – 8:00pm ET

Despite sitting at a crazy low point total, this game has the under written all over it. Indiana plays at a slow pace to begin with and after losing their main offensive weapon in Victor Oladipo, they should struggle to create buckets against a pesky Grizzlies defense.

Meanwhile, Memphis plays at the slowest pace in the league and regularly scores in the 80’s against teams that also like to grind it out.

After a promising start to the season, the Grizzlies have quickly made a case as one of the worst teams in the league. The Pacers are also a solid defensive unit (even without Oladipo), so don’t expect many easy baskets for Mike Conley and Marc Gasol on the evening.

In a match-up between a banged up slow pace team and a dumpster fire team that plays at the slowest pace in the league, look for a lot of long possessions and missed shots from the field. While this should be close given the extremely low total set, look for both teams to clock in at under 100 points in this match-up.

Basketball Parlay Pick #3: UNDER 204

Atlanta Hawks vs Portland Trail Blazers – 10:00pm ET

The exact opposite of the Pacers-Grizzlies game, the Hawks and Trail Blazers should be an absolute shootout.

Atlanta rolls in with one of the worst defenses in the NBA, but play at the most aggressive pace in the league. As a result, they pile up points, but give up even more. Especially when they face other elite offenses, the Hawks regularly see point totals eclipsing the 240 mark in their games.

The Trail Blazers are one of the best offenses in the league with Damian Lillard on the court. They don’t play at as quick of a pace as the Hawks, but are comfortable cranking it up and letting Lillard do his thing. The Blazers have more than enough firepower to handle a shootout with the Hawks and likely won’t shy away from the challenge.

Look for a monster point total in this game with the Trail Blazers flirting with the 130-140 mark.

Basketball Parlay Pick #5: OVER 228

Total Payout: +1200 (varies from book to book)
