Arizona has the perfect opportunity to rebound from a rough loss as the Wildcats are heading over the take on a ragged UCLA Bruins team. However, Arizona may not be able to win without one of its stars.
At 10-9 on the year, it’s fair to say that the UCLA men’s basketball team is a mess this season. The Bruins haven’t had an easy time getting wins and are currently slumping pretty hard. Earlier this season, UCLA hit a rough stretch and went on a four-game losing streak. The Bruins are aiming to avoid extending their current losing streak into one that lasts at least four games as they host the Arizona Wildcats.
Had Arizona not just lost on the road to a similar-to-UCLA level of dilapidated USC Trojans men’s basketball team by 23 points, then it’d be incredibly easy to say that the Wildcats would walk right in and out of Pauley Arena with a solid win.
But Arizona did lose to USC by 23 points. Oh, and against the UCLA Bruins, there’s a very real chance that the Wildcats may not have one of their best players in Chase Jeter. That would certainly impact the outcome of this game.
UCLA might just be able to end that losing streak that it’s on at the moment. If an admittedly struggling Bruins basketball team can take advantage of Arizona’s struggles and deficiencies, then maybe UCLA comes out on top at home.

Arizona is going to have a difficult time winning in this game without Chase Jeter. The starting center for the Wildcats is the second leading scorer on his team with 12.6 points per game and he also leads the way in rebounding with 7.2 rebounds per game.
The Bruins aren’t a good team this season. UCLA has struggled all year. But, there’s a somewhat decent possibility that they can steal a win from an Arizona team that is missing one of its best players.
