RENT brings another live musical production to FOX with a star-studded cast. Here’s how to watch RENT live, on TV and online.

Another famous Broadway musical is coming to TV, so find out how to watch RENT online or live this Sunday, although FOX‘s version won’t be exactly live.

For those who don’t know, this is Jonathan Larson’s modern adaptation of Puccini’s classic opera La Boheme, which became one of the seminal shows in stage history with how many big names took on its roles and its many messages about life, love, drugs, AIDS and other challenges. Now it’s the latest musical that’s getting a TV adaptation.

Among the cast members are Brandon Victor Dixon, who stole the show in last year’s Jesus Christ Superstar live, and singer-actress Vanessa Hudgens (headlining her second FOX musical after she played Rizzo in the network’s Grease Live three years ago).

But what may also be of interest to TV fans is that not everyone is getting to see RENT live—the network is tape delaying it outside of the East Coast. So it’s not actually getting a live airing around the country, but it will certainly be of interest to musical theater fans and pop culture fans this weekend.
