High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Montrezl Harrell (vs ATL – $7,100): Needs 32.8 fantasy points. Harrell was up to 35.75 fantasy points against the Kings on Sunday. It’s a back-to-back but they’re getting to face the the Hawks, so the back-to-back isn’t quite as damaging. Harrell will continue to get good minutes and could be at a double-double in this game. His salary remains decent enough given his usual production. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.

DeMarcus Cousins (at IND – $6,500): Needs 30.1 fantasy points. Cousins is finally over the high salary line and yup, the Warriors are just going to crush everyone. Cousins still isn’t playing big minutes due to not being in game shape and still fouling a bit too much. But it doesn’t matter. He’s still posting big numbers. And his minutes are going to climb as some point. You can also look towards Draymond in this spot as his minutes are more guaranteed but I find Cousins more reliable even in the lesser minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Al Horford (vs BKN – $6,400): Needs 29.6 fantasy points. Horford has been over 44 fantasy points in his last two games. The minutes are up and he’s looking more and more like himself, which has helped turn around the Celtics in recent weeks. He hasn’t played well against the Nets this season but I’m going to trust him in this spot given his salary and all-around ability. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
