NHL DFS Man Advantage Tuesday January 29th
By Matt Vecchio
Welcome to NHL DFS Man Advantage for Tuesday night January 29th! Tonight is a yet another small NHL DFS slate with only 3 games. We have 2 teams , Winnipeg and Philadelphia, on the second night of a back to back as well. There is a lack of top end talent on tonight’s slate as well which is good for us DFS players because you will be able to fit a lot of the top guy on this slate into your rosters.
Tonight’s NHL DFS Schedule:
7pm
Winnipeg @ Boston
Buffalo @ Columbus
7:30pm
Philadelphia @ NY Rangers
NHL DFS Goalies:
My top goalie on tonight’s slate is The King, Henrik Lundqvist ($8,100). Hank comes in off a stellar performance in the NHL All Star game and also won his last 3 starts heading into the break. In those same 3 games Lundqvist has only allowed 7 goals for a GAA just over 2.00, stopping 85 of 92 shots. Hank and the Rangers get a home game with a Philly team on a back to back and they probably won’t see Carter Hart who got the win on Monday
Sergei Bobrovsky ($8,000) is my next pick in net in a home matchup with Buffalo who has lost 4 of their last 5 games. Bob has alternated wins and losses in last 8 games so if that trend continues he should get a win tonight. Buffalo ranks 12th in the league, averaging 31.9 S/PG.
Lastly, Connor Hellebuyck ($7,600) is only this list because of the lack of games tonight. I would’t recommend Hellebuyck for anything other than GPP’s because of his lack of consistency this season.
NHL DFS Top Forwards:
Brad Marchand ($6,700) – Marchand has 3 goals and 3 assists in his last 4 games as well as 12 shots on goal. Marchand and his linemates, Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak are the top line stack of the night as well.

Mika Zibanejad ($6,600) – Zibanejad is riding a 5 game point streak entering tonight’s home game against Philly. During his streak, Zibanejad has 5 goals and 4 assists and is averaging 6.6 FPPG while playing on the top line with another great play tonight in Chris Kreider ($5,800). Kreider has 2 goals and 3 assists in his last 4 games.
David Krejci ($4,900) – In his last 6 games Krejci has 3 goals and 4 assists with 12 shots on goal and he has been seeing over 17 minutes per game. Krejci centers the B’s 2nd line with youngsters Jake DeBrusk and Peter Cehlarik.
Evan Rodrigues ($4,100) – Coming out the All Star break Rodrigues is riding a 3 game goal streak. The one downside to using Rodrigues tonight is he doesn’t see any PP time, even though his current play shows he deserves to be. Pairing Rodrigues with Connor Sheary ($3,400) is a pretty good mini stack as well.
Filip Chytil ($3,800) – Chytil is another Ranger I like tonight with 3 goals and 2 assists in his last 6 and has goals in back to back games. Chytil has also averaged 3.25 FPPG in the last 6 games, but has a 5 FPPG average in his last 2 games. Chytil plays with Ryan Strome and Jesper Fast on the Rangers second line, which is a good cheap line stack tonight
NHL DFS Top Defensemen:
Top Dman to Pay Up for:
Rasmus Dahlin ($4,800) – The first overall pick in the 2018 draft comes back from the All Star break with 1 goal and 5 assists in his last 6 games. Defense is similar to last night where there are not many choices that I am really interested in using but Dahlin definitely has my thinking about paying up tonight.
Other options: Torey Krug ($5,200)
Top Dman to Pay Down for:
Travis Sanheim ($3,700) – Sanheim has been a pleasant surprise for the Flyers and has probably been their best defenseman over the entire season especially with Provorov and Gostisbehere having a below average seasons. Over the previous 4 games Sanheim has 2 assists and is averaging 3.2 FPPG while playing on the top D pair for the Flyers
Other options: John Moore ($3,100)
NHL DFS Top Line Stacks:
Buffalo 1
Columbus 1
Philadelphia 2
