DraftKings EuroLeague Basketball Picks January 31
We are back to another balanced one round week for our DraftKings EuroLeague tournaments this week. We have a lot of high prices on this slate, but there is some decent value to put a couple of them in your lineups. Which ones should we aim for?

The news just came out that Alexey Shved is still at least two weeks from returning, but with a nice Zalgiris matchup, it may be worth chasing some Khimki value guards.
The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!
For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value.

DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:
Luca Vildoza is the only guard priced in five figures, and he is totally worth it. Vildoza was cold against Darussafaka last week, but there’s no reason to think he will go hitless from the field again. Marcelinho Huertas is in play as well if you want to stack the Baskonia backcourt again. I would even consider Matt Janning today. After all, Janning put up 27.5 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Tel Aviv.
I don’t trust Heurtel or Sloukas in these matchups, but Scottie Wilbekin is back on my radar. He put up 25.5 DraftKings points on Baskonia in the first matchup. Jeremy Pargo is also in play with Deandre Kane out. Pargo played 17 minutes and put up 15 DraftKings points in his EuroLeague debut last week.
Nate Wolters looks like a strong play. Going after the Khimki backcourt without Shved has been better than trying to actually figure out which Khimki guard to play.
Vassilis Spanoulis is back in play with the way he has played lately. Nigel Williams-Goss was stealing his thunder for a while, but NWG has cooled off and Spanoulis is still producing. Marius Grigonis has quickly become one of the best plays in the middle tier, mostly at the expense of NWG.
Yovel Zoosman continues to be one of the best value plays out there, and is again today. The rest of the value tier is pretty much a crapshoot. Thomas Walkup is playing well again, but he is only two weeks removed from a 4.75 DraftKings point performance. With there being no big time guards, you really don’t need to dip any lower than Zoosman. Playing two value guards will leave you well over $9,000 for each remaining slot.
DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:
The injury to Jan Vesely is going to open more things up for Nicolo Melli and Nikola Kalinic. I don’t like the matchup for either of them today, but Kalinic is priced low enough that I would play him over Melli this round.

With Vesely out of the picture for at least a month, Nikola Milutinov ascends to the best forward option this round. He put up 43.5 DraftKings points against Barcelona the first time around. Jordan Mickey is also a nice play in this tier with Shved still out.
Brandon Davies is in a smash spot, but he is questionable with an undisclosed muscle injury. If Davies plays, lock him in. He racked up 45.75 DraftKings points in the first game against Khimki. If Davies is out, Aaron White and Edgaras Ulanovas are both must plays. I like Ulanovas and Paulius Jankunas for the price regardless of the status of Davies.
You could go with Vladimir Lucic or Derrick Williams here since Vesely is out. The Fenerbahce frontcourt defense is still going to be good, just not the second best you see on DraftKings right now. Lucic would be the one I take a chance with if you want to create some separation.
Adam Hanga and Chris Singleton are both pretty good plays today, but why do you need to live in the middle tier at forward? There is so much value and so many good plays at the top that I would go with Kevin Seraphin and swing for the fences with two top plays.
Malcolm Thomas was huge against Munich last week, and is in line for more playing time with Anthony Gill out again. Thomas is an excellent mid range play again here.
If for some reason you really need value here and don’t want to use the Zalgiris players, the Olympiacos front is the way to go. Axel Toupane and Janis Timma both look solid.
