20. Shepard Smith, Ole Miss Rebels

There are certainly a massive number of Ole Miss Rebels fans that grew up idolizing Archie Manning. While he may be better known to the current generation as the father of Peyton and Eli, Archie himself was an absolute legend in college and the Rebels have never forgotten it. Heck, the speed limit at Ole Miss’ campus is 18 miles per hour because that was Manning’s jersey number.

One kid who grew up idolizing the former Ole Miss quarterback was FOX News anchor Shepard Smith. The new figure claims that he had a poster of the star Rebels quarterback hanging up in his room growing up in Holly Springs, MS, and we’re inclined to believe him. And even if he didn’t, it’s still clear that Smith is a diehard fan of this team.

Smith attended Ole Miss for his college education, which only furthered his fandom that he claims was present from a much younger age. And to be sure, his rooting interests haven’t changed since those days. Many times throughout the Rebels season, no matter the year, you can see Smith stepping away from FOX News for a bit to catch some SEC football action.

Of course, Smith is probably tearing out some hair given the frustrations of Ole Miss’ NCAA transgressions and, frankly, their lack of success given the amount of talent that they’ve had on their roster in recent years. However, you can bet that he’ll stick with his team until the very end given how deep his ties to the Rebels run.
