8. Vince Vaughn, Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Vince Vaughn established himself as a comedy giant in Hollywood in the mid-2000s with roles in massively popular comedies like Dodgeball, Wedding Crashers and Old School. Even before that, he played an iconic role in the classic comedy Swingers. When it comes to the world of college football, though, the big-time actor doesn’t have multiple roles that he fills. He’s all about the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and no one else.

Vaughn has been a lifelong fan of the Fighting Irish and has displayed some strong ties to the Fighting Irish over the years. A native of just outside of Chicago, Vaughn attends numerous Notre Dame football games every season and is someone you can’t miss on the sideline. Moreover, he’s also done things such as lead the team on the Players’ Walk and talk with the players before games, in addition to, of course, being on the sidelines of many games that he does attend.

On top of that, Vaughn even has a tie to Notre Dame in his career. As a massive fan of the Fighting Irish, you have to believe that his role in the movie Rudy is one that is precious to him among his distinguished filmography.

As of late, you have to believe that Vaughn has been riding high. Though Notre Dame lost to Clemson in the College Football Playoff, making it to the final four is a bigger step back in the right direction for the Irish.
