26. Ty Burrell, Oregon Ducks

From one star of Modern Family to another, Ty Burrell stars as Phil Dunphy on the same show as the previously mentioned Eric Stonestreet. While Burrell’s character is not a high school football coach, that doesn’t change anything about the actor himself. Burrell, an Oregon native, is a massive fan of the Oregon Ducks and has put that fandom on display time and again since rising to notoriety thanks to the hit TV show that he stars on.

Burrell also attended the University of Oregon, giving him strong ties to the college. What’s more, he has a long relationship with football in the state of Oregon, playing the sport when he was in high school in the state, though he never got the opportunity to suit up for the Ducks.

Though his star and fame has certainly grown since he got the role as Phil Dunphy, Burrell has only used that to get a bit more shine as a Ducks superfan. He’s appeared in a number of videos, including one hilarious one from 2015 in which he was seen in a bathtub filled with rubber ducks talking about what it means to be a Duck. Yes, it was as ridiculous as it sounds.

Not only does Burrell do work like that with the football team, though, he is also just a supporter in a very pure sense. He can be seen at Autzen Stadium numerous times throughout a given college football season. If Oregon and Kansas State meet up again anytime soon, expect he and Stonestreet to have a fun Modern Family wager going.
