Devonta Lee is listed as an athlete but will probably end up playing wide receiver at the college level. He was initially in the top 150 recruits on the list but fell on the 247Sports list after a re-ranking and the early National Signing Day commenced.

Lee has yet to officially make his decision yet but all signs point to him staying in the state of Louisiana and joining LSU. Plenty of skill players have signed their letters of intent to this point but Lee is still waiting to sign his.

He’s gotten offers from the top programs but maybe not the same recognition as some of the skill players near the top of most rankings boards. At 6’2″ and 212 pounds, Lee could very easily prove to be a diamond in college football real fast.

Just on the outside looking in from the top 150 is defensive tackle Jaquaze Sorrells out of Orlando, Florida. The 6’2″ and 310-defensive tackle is an exciting prospect that could have the tools to be even better than those ranked above him.

Sorrells is incredibly athletic for his size and has good speed. He’s going to be a force along the interior of any defensive line he ultimately ends up with. 247Sports predicts that he will indeed end up with South Carolina.

In the SEC, defensive tackle talent is across the board. Sorrells fits the prototype of the big, athletic mold of defensive tackle that has dominated the college football landscape recently. He’s sought after and should get just as much recognition as any other defensive tackle on the board. He’s one of the diamonds in the rough still available.
