High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Dennis Smith Jr (at DET – $5,500): Needs 25.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40 fantasy points against NewYork. Smith Jr has constantly delivered since being back in the lineup as he’s started to assert himself a lot more. He’s either playing like a guy who wants to spend the rest of his career playing next to Doncic or like a guy who wants out of town to run his own team. Either way, it’s working. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Derrick White (vs BKN – $5,600): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.25 fantasy points against Phoenix. You know what you’re getting from White on most nights and you’re about to read a lot about the Spurs because I love this matchup for them. White will put up his usual numbers in all categories and turn in his typically reliable outing. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Shabazz Napier (at SA – $5,300): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.75 fantasy points against Chicago. Napier’s salary is climbing but it’s not quite high enough for what he is giving you right now. He gets the second unit to himself and the opportunities will continue to be there. This is a tough matchup but he’s a proven scorer who will also chip in with assists. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
