DraftKings EuroLeague Basketball Picks February 1
We are back to another balanced one round week for our DraftKings EuroLeague tournaments this week. We have a lot of high prices on this slate, but there is some decent value to put a couple of them in your lineups. Which ones should we aim for?

Nemanja Nedovic and Kaleb Tarczewski are still out and so is the extreme value of Markel Brown. Rudy Fernandez also joins the ranks of the dinged up this week. There are also a lot of questionable tags out there with no explanation. If you are planning on using Bryant Dunston or Rodrigue Beaubois, have a backup plan just in case.
The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!
For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value.

DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:
Mike James went for 44 DraftKings points on Gran Canaria in the first meeting. This is quite literally the best matchup he can have on paper. I don’t care if he is almost 15k. We have to play James in cash games, and it’s hard to fade him in GPP’s as well. Norris Cole is the only top option that I would consider using in his place. Good luck getting them both in together.
Cory Higgins is officially listed as questionable. If he ultimately sits again, Nando de Colo is worth using. Nando has 55.25 DraftKings points over the last two games with Higgins out. It’s an easy pivot to Sergio Llull, who had his best game of the season last round, or Facundo Campazzo.
The middle tier of guards is very dangerous. You could go with Krunoslav Simon if Beaubois ends up sitting out. The drop then is to Albert Oliver or Sean Kilpatrick. Oliver is about the only guard getting consistent minutes for Gran Canaria. Kilpatrick tapered off against Tel Aviv after a solid EuroLeague debut. It’s probably safer to go with Shane Larkin as he gets more consistent minutes.
Dairis Bertans is a great play with Nedovic still out. Bertans put up 30 minutes of court time last week. With his sharpshooting, he should be out there for that kind of run again today.
I don’t see any other value plays that play enough minutes consistently to take a chance on today. Bertans should give you enough value that you can play James and still put together a solid frontcourt.
DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:
Will Clyburn has a decent matchup on paper, but Goga Bitadze didn’t play against CSKA in the first meeting. I’m using Bitadze over Clyburn here, and it really isn’t that close for me. Adrien Moerman is worth a look at the top, but despite the good matchups, I’m not all that interested in Vladimir Micov or Gustavo Ayon despite the good matchup. Ayon is struggling right now.

Arturas Gudaitis is struggling right now, but he racked up 39.75 DraftKings points on Gran Canaria in the first meeting. That’e enough to make me consider him. I’m also more comfortable using Anthony Randolph over Ayon.
Ioannis Papapetrou has slowed down some recently, but he has a pretty good matchup here with Efes. Going cheaper with Deshaun Thomas could be the way to go for Athens. Honestly though, Coty Clarke and Walter Tavares are probably better plays today.
If you are going cheap up front, the Gran Canaria front of Ondrej Balvin and Xavier Rabaseda has played well together lately. I don’t trust the guards for Gran Canaria yet, but this frontcourt is rounding into shape.
Nikita Kurbanov is still underpriced. He has 45 DraftKings points over the last two rounds, and is still under $7,000. There is value with Jeff Brooks in his return from injury as well. Both are superb values so you could add another star guard or Bitadze.
Tibor Pleiss is going to be a strong play if Dunston ends up sitting out. Keep a close eye on this one. Konstantinos Mitoglu and Thanasis Antetokounmpo are worth a look if you still need more value. Both are raw, but are playing pretty well under Rick Pitino so far. Adreian Payne is also in the fold, so there could be massive value there.
