It’s time for matchweek 25 of the Premier League and there are plenty of exciting games to watch. Here are five bold predictions for all the action.

The Premier League returns this weekend after last week’s FA Cup action and there’s some great games to look forward to. Newcastle travel to Tottenham with record new signing Miguel Almiron whilst Manchester City host Arsenal after their disappointing defeat in the north east.

Burnley, Fulham and Cardiff all desperately need points to try and stay up while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hopes to extend his unbeaten run with Manchester United to ten games. The weekend ends on Monday as West Ham host Liverpool. Here are five bold predictions for all the action.

1. Newcastle new signing Almiron comes on to score against Spurs

The first game of the weekend sees Newcastle travel south to face off against Spurs. Newcastle got a huge win in midweek when they beat reigning champions Manchester City whilst Tottenham came from behind to beat Watford.

Both sides will come into this match full of confidence but it’s hard to see any other outcome than a Spurs victory. Even though the London side have lost some of their best players of late they’ve performed admirably.

Fernando Llorente has been an able deputy to Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son returned from international duty to score against Watford on Wednesday night. Mauricio Pochettino’s side have kept themselves in the fight for the Premier League and are only two points behind Manchester City now.

Rafa Benitez shouldn’t have too difficult a team talk on Saturday as his players will be buzzing after their win over Manchester City. The Spaniard will have a similar gameplan against Spurs and the players will believe that they can execute it.

Newcastle fans will also hope that their record signing from Atlanta United, Miguel Almiron, will be able to feature in the match. The Paraguayan playmaker is exactly the kind of player Newcastle need — someone in the middle to take the game to the opposition and provide key passes for the forwards.

This weekend Almiron will see his first action in a Newcastle shirt as he comes off the bench to grab an equalizer for Benitez’s side. Tottenham won’t be able to break down Newcastle for a second time and the Magpies will get another great result.
