The Duke Blue Devils have kept rolling in ACC play, and can continue doing so as they take on the Boston College Eagles on Tuesday night.
Is anyone going to stop the Duke Blue Devils in the 2018-19 college basketball season? Yes, head coach Mike Krzyzewski’s team has two losses on the season, but they only seem to get stronger as the year goes on and the more adversity to face. On Tuesday night, however, they’ll be at home against a Boston College Eagles team that may not offer much adversity at all.
This Duke team has been reeling off impressive wins as of late, most recently destroying St. John’s as they went berserk in the second half. Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett continue to be forces, and Tre Jones looks back to health. Perhaps most importantly, though, Cam Reddish has started to come on as of late after some early-year struggles.
As for Boston College, they pulled off an upset win over Florida State early in ACC play, but have not done much since. They are just 2-6 in conference play to this point and barely above .500 overall on the season. The Eagles are not in the same conversation as this Blue Devils team.

Duke should be able to simply out-match this Boston College team in every capacity. Though ACC matchups can be tough, this one could ultimately get out of hand in a hurry.

Just looking at the way that things have played out to this point in the season, it’s hard to believe that Boston College is going to have a snowball’s chance in the Sahara of surviving against Duke. Stranger things have happened when it comes to ACC basketball, but this is one that you probably shouldn’t bet on.
