The seemingly unstoppable Michigan Wolverines fell apart against the Iowa Hawkeyes. Can the Rutgers Scarlet Knights find a way to give one of the best teams in the country just its third loss this season?
The last time the Michigan Wolverines played, they didn’t look like themselves. The Wolverines couldn’t keep up with the Iowa Hawkeyes and that level of play is just not what this team is known for this season. Michigan has been dominant all season, but somehow found a way to fall flat and lose to the Hawkeyes by 15 points.
That could be either be really good news or really, really bad news for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. It really depends on how you want to look at this game.
Like the game against Iowa, Michigan has to travel for this one. The Scarlet Knights will be hosting the Wolverines and, if you’re going to take Michigan down this season, you’ll need a home court advantage to do it. It worked for Wisconsin and Iowa and theoretically could work for Rutgers too.
But, Rutgers is just 11-10 so far this season and really doesn’t seem to be anywhere near as good as what it would need to be to take down Michigan. The Wolverines are coming off of an infuriating loss and have an opportunity to play an inferior foe to get some issues ironed out.
That probably doesn’t bode too well for Rutgers here.
How to watch the Wolverines vs. the Scarlet Knights:

In theory, this game is a great opportunity for both teams involved. Michigan is looking for a team that is struggling so that it can get an easy win and get its season back on track. Rutgers, on the other hand, is looking for a landmark win that could totally change the perception of this season. Don’t expect the latter to come true though. That’s more than just a bit of a long shot.
