DraftKings EuroLeague Basketball Picks February 8

We are back to another balanced one round week for our DraftKings EuroLeague tournaments this week. We have a lot of high prices on this slate, but there is some decent value to put a couple of them in your lineups. Which ones should we aim for?

More from DFS

Sergio Llull, Cory Higgins, Keith Langford, Markel Brown, Jan Vesely, Arturas Gudaitis, Trey Thompkins, and Devin Booker are all out today. That can open up a lot of value.

The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!

For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value.

DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:

At this point, we just have to play Mike James and figure out the rest. James has five straight games with more than 40 DraftKings points. Toney Douglas is up to two straight. Those are teh only two top guards I want today. The matchups for Calathes and Nando are bad. So it the one for Luca Vildoza and Kostas Sloukas.

Facundo Campazzo could see an uptick with Llull out, but his ceiling is probably still low 30’s at best. I would rather find the money to pay up elsewhere compared to Campazzo’s salary.

Stefan Jovic could be a solid value for Munich. I trust him more than Dedovic right now, and it’s in no small part related to the $600 price difference.

If Nemanja Nedovic returns as he expects to, Nedovic is a solid play in the middle price range. Unless something comes out saying his minutes are limited (it’s the EuroLeague….it wont), Nedovic looks like a decent play.

Even though the matchup is not the best, I still like Sean Kilpatrick for the price. With Langford out, Kilpatrick should get all of the minutes that Langford did earlier this year. Petteri Koponen is still a solid value play as well.

Kartal Ozmizrak is not only a fun name to say, he’s a must play right now. Ozmizrak and Muhammad Baygul are doing nicely rotating alongside Toney Douglas. Either one is a nice value play here. Play both if you need to spend up at forward!

DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:

Both Derrick Williams and Will Clyburn have the toughest matchups (vs. 1 & 2 against forwards) possible today. I’m not fading James or Douglas so I can play one of these guys in a poor matchup. However, I would consider it for Vladimir Micov and Jeremy Evans. Both are strong plays today.

More from FanSided

Vincent Poirier ravaged Munich for 43.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting. I also like the workload for Anthony Randolph lately as well. With Llull out, the Real Madrid frontcourt is going to end up dominating the game. The only guesswork is decided whether Randolph or Gustavo Ayon will.

Nikola Kalinic has been the one benefitting from the absence of Jan Vesely, not Nicolo Melli. Joffrey Lauvergne could be worth a look for his price as well.

Milan loses Gudaitis, but they could get Kaleb Tarczewski back. Tarczewski could be a decent play, but James Nunnally is the guy I want from the Milan frontcourt.

Baskonia has finally moved Shavon Shields into the starting lineup. He has played well enough that he should have been in there long before now. I don’t like the matchup against Munich, but this is still a good time to play Shields at this price.

If you are hunting for value, Alen Omic is a solid play. Honestly, this Milan-Darussafaka game is just fascinating on both sides of the ball. I don’t usually game stack in the EuroLeague, but I’m making an exception today.

Luigi Datome has played well lately with Vesely out. He should get a solid run in every game without Vesely. Kyle Hines is an interesting value pick as well, but I don’t go out of my way to play anyone against Real Madrid.

Ahmet Duverioglu doesn’t get many minutes, but he has put up 22.75 DraftKings points in only 21 minutes over the last two games.
