High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Terrence Ross (vs MIN – $5,500): Needs 24 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.5 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Maybe Ross is still on the team. I’m not confident that he will be. But if he is, I’m expecting a big outing. He’s been hot against everyone except Brooklyn over the last month and the Timberwolves are a good matchup. Trust him to keep up his hot shooting. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Marcus Smart (vs LAL – $5,400): Needs 23.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30 fantasy points against Cleveland. Smart has been very good in the last two games and this is another game that just feels like a “Marcus Smart game.” The Lakers are a mess. They could be a bigger mess by the time the game starts. And Smart will take full advantage of that and rub it in while he does it. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Dennis Schroder (vs MEM – $5,200): Needs 22.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.9 fantasy points against Orlando. Schroder continues to run hot for the Thunder with his shooting. It’d be nice if he did more in other categories but at least the scoring numbers are there for him. And the Grizzlies are a good matchup, especially since they could be down multiple players. The minutes and opportunities are always there for him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
