4. Adam Humphries

This one is an interesting player. He could be the next Wes Welker, who in the right system will put up close to All-Pro numbers, or he could be a Danny Amendola who looks like he fits that mold, but has a very developed ceiling. Adam Humphries had some flashes of greatness this season, but consistency was not there yet.

Humphries had some nice games but was never able to break the 100-yard mark. He did have 30 catches over the last five weeks, and he seemed to get better as the season went on. He ended the season with over 800 yards, and in a better offense than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Humphries’ 76 catches ranked 24th in the NFL. He’s not the kind of guy who’s going to break many off for huge gains, but he can play that Julian Edelman type that gets first downs when you need them.

He’s not going to cost as much as some of the other wide receivers on the list. His numbers keep rising every season, and he could be primed for a breakout as soon as next season. If this could end up like the slot receivers we’ve seen in the past, he could become a major steal for whoever gets him.

The Bucs may be looking to re-sign Humphries, especially with disgruntled DeSean Jackson trying to orchestrate his exit. If they lose everyone not named Mike Evans, it won’t be a good start for the Bruce Arians era. He’s probably the best possession receiver on the market, but that’s not saying a whole lot.
