Roma vs. Porto live stream: Watch Champions League online
By Warren Pegg
Roma face Porto at the Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday, Feb. 3. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
While this is possibly the least headline-grabbing of all the round of 16 ties, it’s still an intriguing contest. Roma’s domestic form remains inconsistent, and although they’re firmly in contention to qualify for next season’s Champions League, it also seems unlikely that they’ll match last term’s third-placed finish. A routine 0-3 win over bottom-of-the-table Chievo on Friday at least helped them to banish memories of a chastening 7-1 defeat to Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia at the end of January.
Roma have endured an unfortunate run of injuries in the lead-up to this game. Swedish goalkeeper Robin Olsen is a particularly big loss, having proven such a capable replacement for Liverpool-bound Alisson. Forwards Cengiz Under and Patrik Schick would probably also have started, and Diego Perotti would at least have made the bench. Roma nonetheless have plenty of attacking threat in the likes of Edin Dzeko, Stephan El Shaarawy and one of the golden boys of Italian football, 19-year-old Nicolo Zaniolo.
Porto topped their Champions League group by five points before Christmas, although it was the weakest in the tournament this season. Like their opponents today, they also played on Friday and are just one point clear at the head of Liga NOS, in a three-way domestic title battle with Benfica and Braga.

Conquerors of Barcelona last season, Roma are slight favorites to again reach the quarterfinals this term.
