A 10-point breakdown of everything notable that went down on this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw.

This week’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw was live from Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was the final show before Sunday’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, so unsurprisingly, much of the night’s action centered around the Raw Superstars slated to compete in the show. Of course, there was also the matter of Becky Lynch to address; last week, Lynch attacked both Stephanie McMahon (on Raw) and Triple H (on SmackDown Live), and she was asked back to Raw, ostensibly for some punishment.

And punished she was, though on the rocks (with a twist). Here’s The 10 for this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw.

1. And new…

Before delving into the nuts and bolts of this week’s Raw (and the dramatic Lynch-centered bookends), it’s important to mention the other biggest news of the night: The Revival are the new Raw tag team champions. The Revival were named No. 1 contenders to Bobby Roode and Chad Gable’s titles via winning a four-corner tag match the previous Monday and this week got their shot.

It was a competitive and engaging match (in fact, the only one to garner “This is awesome” chants from the Grand Rapids crowd), clearly planned as a thumb to the eye of those who have bemoaned the quality of tag competition on WWE’s main brands — The Revival, included. The match featured numerous blind tags, near-falls and saves in the classical style and Gable in particular stood out with his suplex skills, proving that he’s not just some kid wearing Roode’s robes.

The Revival finally got the upper hand, with Gable eating the pinfall following taking a Shatter Machine. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder now have the gilded recognition they’ve long deserved, while Roode and Gable were given ample time to shine. The question is whether this marks the start of a new, better era of WWE tag team wrestling or was just one night to make a few disgruntled fans and employees happy. Let’s hope it’s the former.
