NCAA Basketball Best Bets To Win – Wednesday February 13
By John Fazio
Good day and greetings from your NCAA basketball best bets to win host and value gambler. We’ve got 5 games on this Wednesday slate that I believe have excellent quality.
For those seeing this for the first time, I will be giving NCAA basketball best bets for the upcoming days games having written this article the night before. The lines I quote are the live lines at the time of writing, and if the line mentioned here is significantly worse for you then consider it a no bet.
Lines are very important and are key to the value plays. On average, 1 out of every 14 games moving at least 1 1/2 points from the opening number will land (the final score will be within the line move) so we want to make sure to get the proper number.
Last article was for Tuesday’s games where we went 4-2 advancing our overall record to 69-49-2. I play all these games myself, so for as long as I can provide overall winning selections I will continue to write these articles. Hopefully we are winning together, as I would like to see money go into your hands and away from the books.
Analysis of every contest consists of the number I make the game and the associated trends, including and especially how the teams are currently playing. One thing I have long noticed is if almost all stats point to one team, the other is usually the winner.
Sometimes you will see a stat saying team X has covered 8/10, then upon examination that team lost the last 2 in a row. Stats can be a trap so I filter them out for you. All times Eastern, here we go with our NCAA basketball best bets to win:
NCAA Basketball Best Bets To Win – Colonials Surprise
George Washington +4 versus St Louis, 6:30 pm
St Louis has covered 9 of the last 10 in their head to head series, and came within 1 point of covering all 10. It’s time for a change as the oddsmaker is over-valuing the favorite. This line should be a pick in my opinion. Couple that with St Louis has lost 5 of their last 6 to the number (including 0-3 on the road) and this may be the time GW finally earns an ATS win.

Siena -2 versus Iona, 7 pm
Siena is playing better basketball right now than Iona and I believe should be able to take down a home victory. Siena has covered 5 in a row in their series and Iona has dropped their last 5 games overall to the number. Siena won straight up as an away dog at Iona earlier this month.
Bradley +3 versus Loyola Chicago, 8 pm
Bradley has caught fire recently, winning their last 2 games ATS by a combined total of a whopping 39 points. Over their last 7 games they have won 3 of them straight up as underdogs. They are too strong right now and I am willing to go with them until they falter.
California +8 versus UCLA, 10 pm
This is a case of 2 teams going in different directions and I am relying on that pattern continuing. UCLA has lost their last 3 games to the number by a combined total of 30 points while Cal has won their last 3 games to the number by 13 points.
It’s a complete turnaround for California as they had dropped their previous 7 games ATS by a combined total of 59 points. The Bruins won at home early this year against California by 15 points as a 14 point favorite. Not a ringing endorsement for the favorite tonight as that game occurred when Cal was in a slide.
CS Fullerton -6 versus Long Beach State, 10 pm
CSF won at LBS as a an underdog 3 weeks ago and there seems to be a straight path to a solid victory here. The line opened CSF 7 1/2 and has dropped to 6, however my number is 11 so I will trust the move down is wrong and the favorite covers.
That’s it for today!
