NHL DFS Man Advantage Friday February 15th
By Matt Vecchio
NHL DFS Man Advantage for Friday night February 15th! Tonight we are back with a small 4 game slate . There is one team, Boston, who seems like they will be extremely chalky, and a bunch of middle of the pack teams who aren’t super impressive offensively so we will have to find some value and some players we don’t normally use.
Tonight’s NHL DFS Schedule:
7PM:
NY Rangers @ Buffalo
7:30PM:
Edmonton @ Carolina
8:30PM:
New Jersey @ Minnesota
10PM:
Boston @ Anaheim
NHL DFS Goalies:
Tonight’s top goalie, and the goalie that will be big time chalk, is Jaroslav Halak ($8,100). Halak is looking to win back to back games and a matchup with the leagues worst goal scoring team in Anaheim (2.19 G/G). Earlier this season Halak beat the Ducks while stopping 24 of 25 shots.
Alexandar Georgiev is my second goalie tonight against Buffalo tonight. Buffalo has lost 4 of their last 7 and has alternated wins and losses in their last 6 (won their last game). Georgiev has won his last 2 starts allowing only 4 goals in the two games stopping 82 of 86 shots.
NHL DFS Top Forwards:
Patrice Bergeron ($7,900) – Bergeron and the rest of Bostons top line have been lighting up the scoreboard of late. Coming into tonight’s game Bergeron is riding a 5 game point streak with 3 multi point games totaling 4 goals and 5 assists. Danton Heinen ($5,400) has moved up to the top line and will remain their with his play (and Pastrnak’s injury). In his last 4 games Heinen has 3 goals and 3 assists. The one down side is the $1,500 price increase since his last game, he’s still a good play but not the value he was at $3,900.

Sebastian Aho ($7,300) – Aho had 3 assists and 8 fantasy points in the Hurricanes last game against the Oilers earlier this season. In his last 4 games Aho has 4 assists and is averaging 4 FPPG while centering the Canes top line with Justin Williams and Nino Neiderreiter ($5,600). Speaking of Neiderreiter, he has seen an uptick in his play since being acquired by Carolina. In his last 4 Neiderreiter has 1 goal and 4 assists and is averaging 4.1 FPPG.
Jeff Skinner ($6,900) – Skinner continues to have his best season and in his last 4 games he has 3 goals and an assist. Along with Jack Eichel ($7,600) they make for a pretty good mini stack.
Zach Parise ($6,700) – Parise scored in the Wild’s game with New Jersey last week and has 49 points in 56 games which is his best performance in years. In his last 3 games Parise has 2 goals and an assist and averaging near 5 FPPG. Parise with Charlie Coyle and Mikael Granlund make for a pretty good stack against the Devils.
Alex Chiasson ($4,000) – Forward is very top-heavy tonight with this small slate so finding good value is hard. Chiasson has 3 assists in his last 5 and he also has an assist against Carolina earlier this season. Aside from play 3rd line minutes Chiasson plays alongside Connor McDavid on the Oilers top PP unit.
Luke Kunin ($3,400) – In the Wild’s game against the Devils last week Kunin has a goal and an assist and during his last 5 games Kunin has 3 goals and 4 assists. Kunin plays on the Wild’s third line and also plays on the teams the 2nd PP unit with Coyle, Viktor Rask, and Jared Sprugeon.
NHL DFS Top Defensemen:
Pay Up Dman:
Tory Krug ($5,800) – Krug picked up a goal and an assist in their last game against Anaheim and Krug is also riding a 4 game assist streak with 5 total assists during the streak.
Other options: Rasmus Ristolainen ($5,700), Justin Faulk ($5,200)
Pay Down Dman:
Once again I couldn’t come up with someone I felt comfortable suggesting you use. I don’t want to tell you someone I wouldn’t use so I would rather leave this section empty then give someone I don’t like.
