Antonio Brown likes tweet about trade to Packers

Could Antonio Brown get traded to Green Bay? He appears to be open to the possibility after liking a tweet that suggested it.

We have no clue where Antonio Brown, the longtime star wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, will end up in 2019. But he certainly hasn’t been short on dropping hints as to what he may or may not like to see in his future.

Whether or not he’s just messing with all of us remains to be seen, but he liked yet another tweet on Saturday that could potentially foreshadow the next chapter of his career.

Brown tweeted out that he would answer 10 questions with “real truth and real facts” if fans tweet at him with the hashtag #AskAB. One Twitter user, seemingly a fan of the Green Bay Packers, tweeted at him asking, “Green and Gold on your ‘trade list?’” along with a photo-shopped image of Brown in a Packers uniform.

Brown liked the tweet. It could mean something. It probably means nothing.

But the world knows that a very ugly divorce is coming in the near future between Brown and the Steelers. He’s made it clear that he wants to be traded, and Pittsburgh really doesn’t have much use for him at this point.

Would they consider shipping him to Green Bay, where Brown would get to catch passes from arguably the most gifted quarterback of this generation in Aaron Rodgers?

It would be an ideal situation for both Brown and the Packers, who are coming off back-to-back seasons in which they missed the playoffs. Green Bay fans are sick of the latter years of Rodgers’ prime being wasted with a lack of offensive weapons around him. But adding an elite talent like Brown to go along with Davante Adams would give the Packers one of the league’s most lethal receiving tandems, and you can bet Rodgers would thrive with those weapons.

Again, this was just a tweet that probably means nothing. But if it actually did become something, it would certainly be a huge something.
