A look at the match card, start time and live stream information for the 2019 edition of the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event.

With this week’s episodes of Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Live in the books, it seems things are finally set for the 2019 edition of WWE Elimination Chamber.

As its own event since 2010 (minus 2016), the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view has been an important leg on the road to WrestleMania as the results here can give us a good indication of where things might be headed for the biggest show of the year. Actually, until WWE Fastlane was added to the schedule a few years back, Elimination Chamber was the only stop between the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. Nonetheless, what happens this Sunday in Houston is important as we inch closer to The Showcase of the Immortals.

Here’s everything you need to know for the 2019 edition of WWE Elimination Chamber.

2019 WWE Elimination Chamber match card

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy vs. Akira Tozawa

Akira Tozawa earned this opportunity at the WWE Cruiserweight Championship by winning a fatal four way on a recent edition of 205 Live and gets his one-on-one shot with Buddy Murphy, who has taken on the best this division has to offer in recent months. Unfortunately, a lot of people probably won’t see this match as it will likely be thrown onto the kickoff show. How unfortunate.

Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin

So, Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin is still a thing. Yawn.

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Miz & Shane McMahon vs. The Usos

Like Akira Tozawa above, The Usos also won a fatal four way to earn a championship opportunity at Elimination Chamber and will battle The Miz and Shane McMahon, who won the belts from The Bar at the Royal Rumble. The Usos go in with the momentum after taking out McMiz with a pair of superkicks this past Tuesday on SmackDown Live in what turned out to be a better segment than it looked on paper.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley & Lio Rush vs. Finn Balor

After losing his WWE Universal Championship Match to Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble, Finn Balor gets another shot at gold against a large individual, this time in the form of Bobby Lashley. However, a little snag was thrown in that Lio Rush is also now involved in what has become a handicap match, which means that Lashley doesn’t even have to get pinned to lose the Intercontinental Championship.

Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey vs. Ruby Riott

With the Raw Women’s Championship picture in absolute chaos following the announcement that Becky Lynch is out of the match at WrestleMania 35 and Charlotte Flair in (at least for now), it’s hard to tell what could happen between Houston and New York. Flair will be at ringside for a match that Ruby Riott has absolutely zero chance to win.

Nia Jax & Tamina vs. The Riott Squad vs. Mandy Rose & Sonya DeVille vs. The IIconics vs. Sasha Banks & Bayley vs. Naomi & Carmella (Elimination Chamber Match for the Women’s Tag Team Championship)

While WWE wants you to believe that there have never been Women’s Tag Team titles, that’s not the case. The WWF Women’s Tag Team Championship, although rarely ever shown on television, existed from 1983 to 1989. However, that doesn’t take away from the importance of this Elimination Chamber Match, which does crown the first women’s tag title holders in three decades. Bayley and Sasha Banks will kick things off against Mandy Rose and Sonya DeVille.

WWE Champion Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton vs. Samoa Joe vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Kofi Kingston (Elimination Chamber Match)

While it’s highly unlikely Daniel Bryan doesn’t walk into WrestleMania as the WWE Champion, this has the potential to be an outstanding Elimination Chamber Match. It is unfortunate that Mustafa Ali had to be pulled from this match due to injury but Kofi Kingston makes for a nice substitution. His hour-long performance on SmackDown Live this past week in the gauntlet match to determine who would enter the Sunday’s contest last was absolutely incredible. However, he wasn’t able to pull off the wire-to-wire victory as Randy Orton won the match with a last-minute RKO on AJ Styles.
