The season finale of Manifest has arrived and it’s time for some answers. Here is the synopsis of Manifest season 1 episode 16 “Estimated Time of Departure.”

The wheels are up and it’s time for the season finale of Manifest. It has been a thrilling season so far, and this week’s episode will set up what’s to come in future seasons. Though the show hasn’t been renewed, it’s almost a guarantee given that Manifest was the breakout hit of the 2018-2019 television season, garnering huge ratings for its premiere and earning sold ratings ever since.

This week’s episode of Manifest brings the passengers and non-passengers closer together as they start to have communal callings that start to change what they thought they knew about how callings work. How can Zeke have the same callings as Flight 828 passengers unless there is some kind of connection?

Here is the episode description of “Estimated Time of Departure”:

“Michaela, Ben, Zeke and Saanvi all have the same calling; after another panic attack, Saanvi is finally ready to see a therapist, but it may not be what’s best for her; an ominous new link appears between Griffin and the 828 passengers.”

Saanvi’s panic attacks are interesting because they could be a result of something bigger. Yes, she experienced great trauma recently, but at the same time her panic attacks could be linked to the intensity of the callings that Michaela has been experiencing. Saanvi is ready to get help, but in doing so she might find more than she bargained for.

When it comes to finding answers, Griffin’s presence has really turned things upside down. Griffin has managed to turn his calling into a bargaining chip when he’s already in a unique position. From the casual spectator’s standpoint he managed to survive in that van for days, making him a mystery, and he’s ready to milk that for all it’s worth.

With two non-passengers, the threat of Major looming and intense new callings the future is uncertain for Ben, Michaela, Saanvi and the other Flight 828 passengers heading into the season finale. One thing is for certain, though: “Estimated Time of Departure” is going to be one heck of a ride!

The Manifest season finale airs Monday February 18 at 10pm on NBC.
