SMILF deserves to be on every fan of comedy’s much-watch list at this point, and a decent sized audience continues to tune in each week.
Last week’s episode (season 2, episode 3), brought in just over 200,000 live viewers and will likely more than double once DVR and online numbers are added in. This is significantly lower than the number of viewers from season 1 but fairly consistent with the season 2 rating so far.
On a subscription network, sometimes consistency is key when it comes to a show being renewed for another season. SMILF may look like its struggling on paper, but I have a feeling the numbers start to pick up, especially through the DVR and online numbers.
