Manifest wraps up a successful first season with episode 16, “Estimated Time of Departure.” Here’s what you need to know to watch it on TV and online.
The stakes are higher than ever for Ben, Michaela and the other members of Flight 828 as Manifest comes in for a landing after a very successful freshman showing. The season finale is poised to set up the future of the show, which means there will be some resolution as well as more questions. Will there be a cliffhanger? Well, you’ll have to tune in to find out.
Ben and Michaela have been working to solve the mystery of how Flight 828 came back after five years, but the presence of two non-passengers who also disappeared is throwing a wrench into their investigation. Zeke and Griffin couldn’t be more different, and yet they’re all tied together for some larger purpose.
Here is the episode description of “Estimated Time of Departure”:
“Michaela, Ben, Zeke and Saanvi all have the same calling; after another panic attack, Saanvi is finally ready to see a therapist, but it may not be what’s best for her; an ominous new link appears between Griffin and the 828 passengers.”
What does it mean that passengers and non-passengers are having the same calling, and where does Griffin fit into it all? Everything has been turned upside down and with the threat of the Major looming over everyone involved, the stakes have never been higher.
NBC hasn’t renewed Manifest as of this writing, but it’s almost a guarantee that a renewal will be forthcoming given how successful the show has been. This is a good thing, because season 2 will be able to answer questions left over from the season 1 finale while launching into the show’s very bright future.
