Welcome to NHL DFS Man Advantage for Monday night February 18th! Tonight we get a really good 5 game slate. It’s rare that we get a slate with such great offenses with so few games. We have San Jose, Columbus, Boston, Chicago, Tampa, and Washington all on this slate.

Tonight’s NHL DFS Schedule:

7:30PM:

Tampa Bay @ Columbus

8:30PM:

Ottawa @ Chicago

9PM:

Vegas @ Colorado

10PM:

Boston @ San Jose

10:30PM:

Washington @ Los Angeles

NHL DFS Goalies:

Tonight’s top goalie for me is Marc-Andre Fleury ($7,800) in a road matchup with Colorado. While Flower hasn’t been his best of late, Colorado has been worse losing 9 of their last 10 games. Fleury is too good of a goalie to go on a long losing streak and I am pretty confident that his 3 game losing streak ends in Colorado on Monday night.

Another good choice is Pheonix Copley against Los Angeles tonight. With Holtby drawing the start on Sunday night, I assume Copley starts tonight, but if Holtby gets the back to back start he is still an elite start as well. Copley has won his last two starts, including one over these same Kings. In his last 2 starts Copley has allowed 7 goals and stopped 63 of 70 shots.

Lastly, Cam Ward ($8,200) is in a good spot at home against Ottawa tonight.

NHL DFS Top Forwards:

Top Tier:

Jonathan Toews ($7,500) – Toews has been playing the Toews who led his team to 3 Stanley Cups from 2010-2015. In the Blackhawks last 10, Toews has 9 goals and 7 assists as well as averaging just under 4 SOG per game as well as averaging 6.4 FPPG. Pairing Toews with Patrick Kane ($8,000)is an expensive mini stack, but should be worth the cash they will cost.

Brayden Point ($7,200) – Brayden Point is currently riding a 5 game point streak during which he has 3 multi point games. During his streak Point has scored 2 goals and added 7 assists. Point along with Nikita Kucherov ($7,900) make for just as good a mini stack as the Blackhawks top line.

Matt Duchene ($6,700) – News broke on Sunday that Ottawa plans on trading Duchene before the February 25th trade deadline. Pending trade or not Duchene has games to play for the Senators still, and he will want to play his best because he wants to show any team trading for him that he is worth, especially teams with a realistic chance for the Cup.

Mid Tier:

David Krejci ($5,300) – In Boston’s last 3 games Krejci has 2 goals and 4 assists and is showing that the Bruins are not just a one line team and actually has scoring depth. Playing with youngsters Peter Cehlarik and Jake DebruskKrejci has found his youthful game of late.

Tyler Johnson ($4,800) – I mentioned Tampa’s second line earlier, but their first line is not to be left out. Johnson has goals in back to back games as well as averaging 4 FPPG. Johnson plays with Steven Stamkos and Ondrej Palat.

Tyler Toffoli ($4,600) – Toffoli has gone cold in his last 2 games after a 5 game point scoring streak where he scored 3 goals as well as 3 assists for the Kings. Even though he’s cooled off Toffoli against the Caps is a pretty good play. In his last 3 games against Washington, Toffoli has scored 2 times.

Value Tier:

Kevin Labanc ($4,300) – Labanc has picked up 5 goals in the Sharks last 4 games and is averaging 5 FPPG during that same stretch. Besides playing with Joe Thornton  on the 3rd line, Labanc plays on the teams 1st power play unit with buys like Brent Burns and Logan Couture

Oscar Lindgerg ($3,100) Coach Gallant mixed up the Knights lines on Saturday night and they ended up netting 5 goals for  Vegas. Lindberg answered the line switches by picking up a goal and an assist.

Adrian Kempe ($3,000) – Kempe is having his best stretch of his entire season with 8 points in the last 10 games (4 goals and 4 assists), which is more than 1/3 his season total of 21.

NHL DFS Top Defensemen:

Pay up Dman:

Nate Schmidt ($4,800) – Schmidt has 2 goals and an assist in his last 5 games and is averaging just over 4 FPPG. He is on the low-end of the pay up price section for me, but you can pair him with guys from the Vegas 2nd PP unit and still have room to fit one of the top two mini stacks I mentioned earlier.

More from FanSided

Other options: Erik Karlsson ($6,500), Thomas Chabot ($5,700)

Pay down Dman:

Alec Martinez ($3,800) – Coming into tonight’s game Martinez is on a 3 game point streak with 1 goal and 3 assists in that stretch as well as averaging 5 FPPG. For his price and his recent production he is definitely worth it.

Other options: Ryan Murray ($4,000), John Moore ($3,600)
