Virginia and Virginia Tech will clash in a huge ACC showdown. Here’s how to watch two ranked opponents battle online.
The college basketball schedule is nearing conference tournament time, which means the action on the floor is heating up as programs attempt to boost their March resumes. On Monday night, an ACC showdown will take place in Blacksburg, as number-4 Virginia visits number-22 Virginia Tech.
This is the second meeting between both programs this season. The Cavaliers got the better of the Hokies the first time they matched up on the floor in Charlottesville back in January with an 81-59 win.
After falling to Duke a few games ago, the Cavaliers have responded with wins over North Carolina and Notre Dame. Picking up a win over the Hokies can help them perhaps gain some ground in the rankings and of course their overall seed once March Madness rolls around.
The Hokies are hopeful they can put up more of a fight this time around against the Cavaliers. Defeating Virginia would certainly boost them back up the rankings and would add yet another signature win to their resume.
Life in the ACC is tough for any program that plays there and these two have been among the best all season. One of these teams is going to pick up a big win on Monday night. The game will air on ESPN and can be watched online via the WatchESPN app. Who is going to come out on top in this ACC battle?
