Fresh off taking down No. 1 Tennessee, the Kentucky Wildcats will square off with Missouri in Columbia in SEC action.
The Kentucky Wildcats might be the hottest team in the nation. The fourth-ranked Wildcats sent a message to the rest of the SEC and the rest of the country when they took down top-ranked Tennessee over the weekend.
Kentucky proved in the win that they are worthy of being in the discussion for the top rank in the country and might just be the best college basketball team in the nation. Now, the Wildcats will look to keep the momentum when they go on the road to face Missouri.
This is the first meeting of the season between the two programs. Missouri has been on the opposite end of the spectrum as they have struggled mightily in conference play with just three wins to nine losses.
The Tigers would love nothing more than to play spoilers here as they attempt to defend their home court. It will be tough however against a Kentucky team that is 10-and-2 in conference play and is coming off their biggest win of the season.
With the SEC tournament around the corner, the Wildcats are hoping the two teams ahead of them can pick up a conference loss as they attempt to bring home the regular season crown. Defeating Missouri will put the pressure on LSU and Tennessee to win out. The game goes down on ESPN and can be watched online via a live stream via the WatchESPN app.
