WWE SmackDown! Live preview, February 18: Watch online
Here’s all the information you need for the February 18, 2019 edition of WWE SmackDown! Live.
Elimination Chamber is behind us now and a lot has changed around the WWE. Now that the road to WrestleMania is in full swing, let’s take a look at what we can expect this week on SmackDown Live.
We have new WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions, as The Usos were able to regain the titles with a win over The Miz and Shane McMahon. Miz was extremely upset following the loss, to the point McMahon sent him home from the arena. The Miz is set to issue a public apology to McMahon this week. What will he say, and how will McMahon respond?
Kofi Kingston came within a shredded eyelash of becoming WWE Champion during Sunday night’s Elimination Chamber main event. He survived five of the top stars inside the destructive chamber, and battled Daniel Bryan to the very end. But ultimately a lapse in judgement cost Kingston the match, and Bryan retained the WWE Championship. Now, Bryan looks ahead to WWE FastLane and a new opponent. Who will step up and move into the No. 1 contender role? A new challenger is scheduled to be announced. Who is next in line?

Plus, as we saw on Monday Night Raw, Triple H made the announcement that Becky Lynch would be arrested and charged with multiple offenses if she were to show up and do what she did at Elimination Chamber. She is still suspended, but as we all know, that hasn’t stopped her from doing what she wants. Will “The Man” show up again this week on SmackDown Live?
Something else to keep an eye on this week is if more NXT superstars will appear this week. Four of their top stars shook up Raw this week, so it will be interesting to see if Triple H will send more to SmackDown to freshen up the competition.
