The Pittsburgh Steelers are certainly a team to keep an eye on this off-season, as they have plenty of personnel decisions to make. The biggest being star wide receiver Antonio Brown, who has been public about his desire to be traded away from the Steelers, after starring for the team for so many years.

In addition, star running back Le’Veon Bell sat out the whole 2018 season, and is likely going to see his time in the Steel City end as well. For the Steelers, those question marks will have to be answered this off-season, as well as question marks on the other side of the ball.

With their first round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Steelers should look to bring in some talent at the cornerback position. Joe Haden has done a nice job for the team since coming over in a trade with the Cleveland Browns, but the team would be well-off to bring in a talented player to play on the other side of the field moving forward.

One cornerback prospect that should hear his name called in the first round is Byron Murphy, who was one of the better corners in the Pac-12 during his time at Washington. Murphy has all the skills you look for in a shutdown corner back at the NFL level, and based on his physical attributes, is a guy who could see his draft stock skyrocket as we head into the NFL scouting combine.
