The Seattle Seahawks surprised a lot of people in 2018, as they came out of nowhere to make the NFL playoffs. Of course, any team with Russell Wilson under center is going to be solid, but there was a lot of turnover within the organization heading into the 2018 campaign, making them quite a question mark heading into the season.

As the season went on, the Seahawks seem to get stronger, and despite big losses on both sides of the ball, were able to make their way into a Wild Card spot. Although their season would end against the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card round, it may have been Pete Carroll’s best job as a head coach, and he has won a couple of championships in his day.

When the Seahawks were one of the best teams in football, they had one of the best defenses we’ve seen in a long time, as the Legion of Boom terrorized the NFC. Though most of those names are gone, the Seahawks defense was one of the better units in the NFC again in 2018, and they should look to build upon that with their first round pick in 2019.

One area they could look to get better is upfront on the defensive  line, and a guy like Christian Wilkins from Clemson could be available at No. 21. Wilkins is a guy who helped the Tigers to two national championships during his time on campus, and at the NFL level, is going to be a player who could not only make plays in the backfield, but also be quite the run stopper.
